Gary Pickles has been working with copper for many years now and has turned his skill to produce a range of beautiful copper fountains & water features, pieces of sculpture and decorative items for the garden. Pieces have been displayed at many exhibitions and public gardens around the country. Examples of bespoke pieces, can be seen on our Gallery page. In addition to the selection featured on this page, I can also work to your own design and help you create something quite unique in your garden.
Copper is the perfect medium, for garden sculpture and fountains. Through various processes of annealing and hammering, this malleable metal, can be made into endless shapes and forms. From flat sheet-copper, we can create flowers and leaves of every description to make the perfect fountain for your garden. As regards maintenance, quite simply it isn't necessary. Copper will slowly and continually change over many decades, building up a patina of colours, from dark browns, to VerdiGris greens. No cleaning is ever required and the sculpture can stand up to all weathers for many, many years.
